Meet Award-Winning PA Orthodontist
Jason M. Hartman, D.M.D., M.S.
Award-winning PA orthodontist Dr. Jason M. Hartman is a native of Berks County, graduating fifth in his class from Muhlenberg High School while earning 11 varsity sports letters and earning awards on county, district, state, and All-America levels. He received a Bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at Muhlenberg College, Dr. Hartman was named to the Division III, Region 2 Academic All-America Football Team and was a founding member of the Theta Chi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. After college, he worked as an analytical chemist for Johnson & Johnson, testing many of the products that are on pharmacy shelves today, including Tylenol, Motrin, and Immodium. During that year as a chemist, Dr. Hartman decided his desire to help others boost their self-esteem and confidence by improving their smile was his calling to dentistry. He was also named one of America’s “Top 40 Dentists Under Age 40” and has been voted the “Best Orthodontist” and “Best Patient Care” multiple times in various publications. Meet PA Orthodontist Dr. Francis Solga
Orthodontist Dr. Francis A. Solga, DDS, graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1961 and from Muhlenberg College in 1965. While at Muhlenberg, he was a member of multiple honor societies and played varsity golf and intramural sports.
He attended Temple University School Of Dentistry from 1965 to 1969. He was a multiple honor society member, including OKU, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society.
From 1969-1970, he was a dental resident in the United States Army at Letterman General Hospital, San Francisco. From 1970-1972, he was Chief Dental Officer with the 5th U.S. Army Headquarters, Ft. Sheriden, Illinois.
He returned to Temple University Dental School to do a specialty residency in the Orthodontic Program from 1972-1974. He received certification in Orthodontics and wrote the Board-eligible thesis “The Effects of Orthodontic Treatment on the Body Image and Self Concept.”
He has been in private practice since 1974 and holds multiple orthodontic and dental association memberships.
Meet PA Orthodontist Dr. Destinee Zablocki
Dr. Destinee Zablocki grew up in Hazleton, PA, and graduated from Hazleton Area High School as salutatorian of her class. She was a member of the cross-country and track and field team, running both long distance and relay events. She then attended Lehigh University, where she graduated with high honors and received a Masters of Science in Biochemistry.
Dr. Destinee went on to attend Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where she completed her DMD degree. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for her academic achievements.
She furthered her dental education through a post-graduate orthodontic residency at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where she received her specialty training in Orthodontics and a Masters of Science in Oral Biology. During her free time, Dr. Destinee enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Meet PA Orthodontist Dr. Chance Choate
Dr. Chance Choate was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Trinity Christian Academy, where he was part of both the baseball and soccer teams. He then attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Chance then received his DDS degree from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He was selected as part of the Odontological Honor Society upon graduation from dental school. He completed his post-graduate orthodontic training at the University of Texas at Houston where he received a certificate in orthodontics and a Masters of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Chance and his wife Kara enjoy traveling, running, and playing with their dog Cooper. Dr. Chance remains an avid sports fan, particularly of his favorite baseball and football teams, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Texas A&M Aggies.
Meet PA Orthodontist Dr. Jake Dorfman
Orthodontist Dr. Jake Dorfman grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Council Rock South High School where he was a member of the ice hockey and basketball teams. Following high school, Dr. Jake attended Penn State University where he graduated with honors and received a Bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health.
After completing a one-year dental internship in New York City, he went on to attend Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. There, he earned his DMD degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He was also inducted into the esteemed Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Jake then completed his orthodontic specialty training at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where he also received a Masters Degree in Oral Biology for his research on dental biomaterials. During his free time, Dr. Jake enjoys fishing, golfing, and cooking. He and his wife Claire also enjoy spending time with friends and family, and cheering on their Nittany Lions!
Meet PA Orthodontist Dr. Tina Poulson
Dr. Tina grew up in Ambler, PA, and graduated from Wissahickon High School. She was involved in stage design for theater performances and was a member of the horticultural club. She then attended Susquehanna University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. While in college, she was involved with community service and biologic research.
Dr. Tina then went on to Temple University to receive her DMD degree, where she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the honors society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She pursued her dream of becoming an orthodontist at the University of Pittsburgh, where she received her Master’s of Dental Science degree and orthodontic certificate.
During her free time, Dr. Tina can be found enjoying the outdoors or training for her next race. She also enjoys crafting, reading, cooking, and baking.
Meet PA Orthodontist Dr. Sarah Kaplan
Dr. Sarah Kaplan’s own life was transformed through orthodontics, and she’s dedicated her professional life to enhancing the smiles and lives of her patients! Dr. Sarah grew up in New City, New York and graduated from Clarkstown High School North. She was a member of the softball and track and field teams, and on the cheerleading squad, and earned her Girl Scout Gold Award. She then attended Smith College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Chemistry. During her college years, Dr. Sarah worked for the United States Military Academy at West Point performing research in the Chemistry Department. It was during this time that she met Dr. Jason Hartman, who became her mentor as she planned to pursue her dental education.
At SUNY University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Sarah completed her DDS degree with a minor in pediatric dentistry, graduating Cum Laude with Thesis Honors, and receiving several distinctions for academic achievement. Dr. Sarah’s research on self-report of waking-state oral parafunctional behaviors was published in the Journal of Oral Facial Pain and Headache in 2016.
Dr. Sarah continued her dental education via a post-graduate orthodontic residency at SUNY University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she was president of her class. She earned a postgraduate Certificate of Advanced Study in Orthodontics and a Masters of Science in Orthodontics for her graduate research.
During her free time, Dr. Sarah enjoys watching the NFL (Go J-E-T-S!), cooking, traveling, and making art. Dr. Sarah Kaplan is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.
Meet PA Orthodontist Dr. Matthew Campbell
Dr. Matthew Campbell grew up in Lancaster County, PA and graduated from Conestoga Valley High School where he was a member of the soccer team. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Susquehanna University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. In his senior year, Dr. Matt was named co-captain of the Susquehanna University men’s soccer team.
After graduation, Dr. Matt worked at Lancaster Laboratories, Inc. as a chemist in Pharmaceutical Product Testing. It was during this time that Dr. Matt decided he wanted to become a dentist. Dr. Matt completed his DMD degree at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry as Valedictorian of the Class of 2015. He was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Matt continued his education at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry as a post-graduate orthodontic resident, where he earned a postgraduate Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Oral Biology for his research on three-dimensional imaging.
Dr. Matt enjoys playing and watching soccer and spending time with friends and family. He is very passionate about orthodontics and focuses on providing a fun and enjoyable environment for patients during their time together in the office. Dr. Matthew Campbell is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists.
